Egypt wants to remain intact, basically as a secularized nation with an Islamic base.
Gaza’s Hamas wants Egypt as a strong springboard for Islam World Rule.
Egypt deals daily with Hamas tunneling into its confines. Hamas finds this tunnel connection a lifeline to munitions and linking with a large politic.
Egypt does not need fanatic Gaza Muslims remaking Egypt into Hamas’ image.
In addition, Egypt does not need a Gaza-Iran couplet bent on constantly threatening the non-Muslim world. Egypt has trouble enough with its Muslim Brotherhood zealots. Tie these bloodthirsty suicide enthusiasts with the Gaza Allah disciples and Egypt’s officialdom has major complications to unravel.

Jesus taught that a house divided implodes. Luke 11:17-18: “Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall. If Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand?”
