MAN’S WORK WEEK = 6000 YEARS

A day is as a thousand years to God, per the Bible.


There are believers who hold that since Adam to Christ equals 4,000 years or 4 days of man’s workweek.


That leaves 2,000 years from Christ to us or 2 more days of man’s workweek.


Simple math equals man’s workweek having consumed 6 days.


Therefore, we are on the heels of the “Day of the Lord” millennial reign starting at the Second Coming Rapture (Matthew 24:29-31).


Six days shall we labor and the seventh day we shall rest. We are near the holy rest of Christ’s worldwide rule.


When therefore Paul wrote that he lived near the time of Christ’s return, he was not incorrect. He was correct. He was in the start of the last 2 days of man’s workweek; therefore, he indeed was nearer to Christ’s return than David or Isaiah, for instance.


Some point to Paul’s statements as showing that the Bible has inaccuracies. No. Paul was correct. The Bible is correct.


“Work for the night is coming,” sings the old-time gospel hymn.


This is the time for biblical believers to work the work of faith in the coming Christ, not to be caught up in worldliness or self-serving.


Listen to what Christ instructs you for this day alone. Then move into the instructions for the next day when it comes.


“Take no thought for tomorrow.” Jesus counseled that to His own. It stills holds.
