Yes, the times are tense.


The Little Rock Arkansas press releases that the State House said it’s okay for “concealed handguns in churches” to be the worship mode.


AP reports that some debated that Christians should not put their trust in guns in hand but in God alone.


The vote was 57 to 42 in the House. Now the bill goes to the state Senate.


Those in favor say that worshipers, if attacked, would have no defense, hence the need for guns in the sanctuary.


“Those speaking against the bill included two legislators who are also pastors.


“The bill would allow churches to continue to bar weapons on their premises if they choose to do so.”
